Hone Heke Lodge, Kerikeri owners David & Victoria Howells with Japanese tourist Takaishi Mamoru.
At first, the local word was Japanese diving instructor Takaishi Mamoru had quit the country after he was ripped off through some trickery involving the Hundertwasser toilets in Kawakawa.
Once you arrive here in Kerikeri you will become a Kerikeri backpacker and what better place to come to than our Kerikeri backpackers. (Do you like our play on words there?)
So, you’ve made it this far… Kerikeri. You’ll come for one of two things (or perhaps more, but we’ll get to that) – predominantly work or play, or a mixture of both or just one or the other.
Can you help me find a job? We get asked this every day. So it was about time we tried to pack Kiwifruit ourselves.
Have you got your own bucket list? Is it diving, a place you’ve always wanted to visit, a bungee or skydiving Kerikeri NZ? What a thrill to be invited…
In Northland and looking for adventures to experience? You need look no further than this Awesome Cape Reinga day tour & 90 mile beach trip. A perfect day.
So, we bought Hone Heke Lodge backpackers in Kerikeri and realised very early on that on our doorstep was a whole array of orchards all baying for backpackers who could work at the drop of a hat ,work long hours and for as long as possible. There is seasonal work Kerikeri all year round too.
