Hone Heke Lodge backpackers in Kerikeri has a full range of rooms and facilities to make your stay a comfortable one. In fact, you may stay longer than you planned – like many of our guests have!
If you’re coming by bus (Intercity) let us know and we’ll try and pick you up if we’re free. If you’re driving (driving directions) we have lots of free off-street car parking.

We have a common room with a table tennis table and it’s also a perfect spot for Skyping friends and family back home. WIFI is FREE!
Our kitchen has seen many culinary treats emerge from it so you’ll find everything you need to make your meals. There’s a microwave, 4 gas hobs and an oven…

We now have a purpose built Smoker’s Area as the rest of Hone Heke Lodge is non-smoking. We have a No Drugs policy.
When the weather’s nice you can find a peaceful sunny spot to relax, or get active and have a go at yoga on the lawn.
If it’s wet we have a TV room with a DVD player and a book library as well as games and puzzles. There are also lots of DVDs and books to borrow.

We can help you book onward travel or organise whatever activities you fancy – including trips to Cape Reinga, kayaking, fishing, sky diving, local walks, bus trips and lots more. We can book them all here for you.

Our room prices include linen (duvet, sheets and pillowcase). Double en-suite rates also include towels. In order to keep our hostel free of bed bugs, we do not allow sleeping bags. Most rooms have their own fridges and tables.
