Hone Heke Lodge is a super-friendly backpackers and can be found in sunny Kerikeri in the Bay of Islands. It is situated in peaceful, park grounds amongst native trees & birds. We are within walking distance to the famous Stone Store (oldest building in New Zealand) and Kerikeri's shops and restaurants. Surrounded by orchards there is a stunning short drive to ocean beaches where you can surf, swim, trek, fish or just relax. Kerikeri is a unique blend of New Zealand heritage, horticulture, arts, crafts and adventure.

We have excellent contacts with the local Orchards so aswell as having a great place to stay we can also help you find Seasonal Work to help you fund your travels.
