Driving directions from Auckland

• From Auckland City central, drive north over the Auckland Harbour Bridge.
• Stay on the motorway all the way to Orewa (35 km).
• Proceed north following State Highway 1 through Hatfields Beach (38 km), Waiwera (43 km), Puhoi (48 km), Warkworth (60 km), Wellsford (81 km), Te Hana (86 km), Brynderwyn (115 km), Whangarei (160 km).
• At Whangarei, take the Kamo bypass and continue north through Hikurangi (180 km), Waro (183 km) and Whakapara (185 km) to Kawakawa (217 km).
• At Kawakawa, turn left to go through Moerewa (225 km), Pakaraka (229 km), Oramahoe (233 km) and Puketona (234 km).
• Eight kilometres after Puketona, turn right into Kerikeri Rd (242 km)
• At the Caltex Service Station at the roundabout in Kerikeri, turn right into Hobson Ave (244.4 km)
• At the end of Hobson Ave, bear right into Cobham Rd (244.6 km)
• Turn left into Hone Heke Rd (244.8 km)
• Look for 65 Hone Heke Rd on the right, just past the school.
• You'll find Hone Heke Lodge at the end of a long driveway. Welcome!
